Prepare yourself for a night filled with the rich flavors of Mezcal, the traditional Mexican spirit known for its smoky and complex taste. Our expert mixologists will be crafting exquisite mezcal cocktails, ensuring your taste buds embark on a journey of delight.

The Grashanti and Haldi will be immediately followed by the Welcome Dinner. Guests are invited to wear casual or Indian attire.   

Transportation Buses will be provided back to the JW Marriott after the Welcome Dinner.

Proyecto Public Prim was love at first sight. This beautiful historic space was built in 1899. It was once home to the former governor of Jalisco in 1911 and its design pays homage to the neoclassical architect Manuel Tolsa. We hope you also find the beauty in the decay of the walls, the wonder behind each door, and the warmth in the greenery and streaming natural light.

The Baraat will begin at 9 am, followed by the ceremony. A Baraat is the groom's arrival, accompanied by the groom's family and friends.

Ceremony will take place at 10:00am where it will take place under a canopy-like structure called a mandap. A Hindu priest will officiate the ceremony and numerous relatives will perform specific roles under his guidance. 

The bride and groom will be seated in front of the priest for most of the ceremony. The priest will recite verses in Sanskrit, but will also provide English explanations of the rituals. 


After the ceremony, lunch will be served from 11:30-12:30.
